Peer Review

    My presentation of my magazine went very well, I was a little nervous before presenting but it ended up going very smoothly and I was very happy with the feedback I received. My peers complimented my magazine, specifically my pictures, article size and format, and my cover page. There were a few minor aspects of my magazine that were pointed out that my peers think I could change to enhance my magazine. It was suggested that I add page numbers onto my content page, add the month and year onto my cover page, make some of the font on my cover page smaller, and change the format of my content page. I was really happy with the comments my peers made because they were all either compliments or very helpful for my magazine overall. Ms. Gartland suggested adding something about things for adults to do as well in my feature article, but other than that and a few other cosmetic changes she said she liked my magazine overall. I plan on making the changes suggested to my magazine, the content page was made last-minute, so I knew that needed improvement and the feedback I got about how to add a picture of the sky as the background and use black and white text really helped me see a new image for my content page. I'm also going to edit my cover page and make the word “the” in “the little traveler” and the words “20 places the locals recommend” smaller so that it doesn’t take away from the title of my magazine. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of my presentation and I’m looking forward to seeing the final product of my magazine after I add these changes to it.
